I wish that I had more willingness to keep this thing updated on a regular basis, and by regular, i mean more than once a week. This weekend was the shit. Friday night the wife and I got to hang out with jorelle whom i havent seen in ages. We met up in royal oak and had sushi at the LIttle Tree. Dorotas boss, Dawhal, came up and hung out with us too. FANTASTIC. They serve the best smoked salmon sushi rolls and their eel sauce is devine. I like that place alot. It has a nice wood decor' around the interior of the main room, an open sushi bar where you can watch the rolls being made, and a good amount of lighting as to not be too dim or too bright. Also the green tea is pretty killer. I would almost go there just for that.
Yesterday I had to work over at the millenium draw site with Sherri. The last time I was in that building I left some works in the ceiling of the bathroom. After I finished my shift I went to go get rid of them, as they have been on my mind since I got clean, and they were already gone. I was kinda bummed out cause I wanted to be the one who took care of it, but like so many things in my using, someone else cleaned up my mess. Sherri is allright I guess. Shes kindof a bitch, and I dont really mean that in a bad way. Shes been hurt by alot of people, the company, and her family. I guess that she keeps her guard up to protect herself and her job and I cant blame her for that. Shes a tough worker and Im glad that shes still there.
Today my mom and walter came over to the house for a little lunch with dorota and I. We had some yummy chicken strudel and wild rice salad. I also made some gougers with blue cheese and shallots. It went allright but the gougers could have cooked a bit longer. Half way through I ran out of regular flour so I had to use Bobs 10 grain, it worked out well. I even used it in the chicken veloute roux instead of regular flour and found it gave a bit of an earthy feel to it. Almost a bit more pleasent. Around four the wife and I went to eat dinner at Cactus Jacks with D's parents because it was the stepdads name day. Its kinda like a birthday but not. See, everyone in Poland has a name day and a birthday. The birthday is indentical to the way it is in the states, but a name day is different. Everyday in Poland has a different persons name attached to it. If that name happens to be yours your get presents and cake... Bonus.
Thanks God for an allright weekend and for keeping me and my family safe.
