what if, all of the sudden, you get everything you ever wanted? it's just handed to you in the form of a plane ticket to Austin, TX, where you reconnect with someone you have always crushed on but with whom you've never hung out.
i'm utterly shocked how similar we are. utterly shocked by how enamored he is. what if all i wanted was to feel cool, feel noticed, feel pretty, and i got that validation. he's liked me the whole time. he thinks i'm beautiful and he treats me like gold. he got new sheets, towels, boxers (with vegetables on them, ha!), and a shirt for me. he is so thoughtful and the essay he read to me was incredibly beautiful and touching. he's having dinner with the two most beautiful women in LA, one of whom i've always idolized, and he wants me.
