The Great Hair Experiment '08
So the Great Hair Experiment of 2008 was a fail. I'm now back to my old conditioner, although I think I'm sticking to my experimental shampoo while supplies last.
Last Christmas, I spent three weeks in my hometown. Because I am not very picky with hair products, I used my sisters' Head and Shoulders shampoo, and some conditioner whose brand I cannot recall. I noticed that my hair became quite nice and soft. So when I got back to the Metro, I continued using the same shampoo and conditioner. However, my hair lost its niceness, so I concluded that it must have been the water. Yes, apparently the local water district PR was right and we really do have good water back there.
Because obviously I cannot have said water sent here by the gallon, I decided that the closest I could get to good water was the purified drinking stuff I use for, well, drinking. So I did that for a couple of weeks. No improvement. Blast it.
So there. I have now resigned myself to never again having the fabulous hair I had last Christmas. Because no matter how good my hair is over there, I still love living here.
