As many of you may already know, LiveJournal experienced about an hour of downtime on Thursday, August 6th due to a DDoS which affected LiveJournal and several other web service providers. I have a permanent account, and I was blocked for a couple of days.

This journal is a permanent account and as such has free time forever. You cannot give extra paid time to permanent accounts.

At some point long ago, it used to give you ∞+3 or something like that.

thank you! i actually renewed my paid account because i thought the slowness was due to me becoming a regular member again only to find out that i was a problem with the whole site. but stuff like this reminds me why i like you guys so much.
