Current Annoyance
I don't understand why the radio station can't just tell us when our off air date is!! Usually, before a break, we have a staff meeting and they tell us when we go off air. Last semester we knew like 2 weeks in advance. Well, spring break starts on Friday and so far there's been on word as to when we go off air. This is soo annoying because NOT ONLY is my show on Friday nights from 8-10, but I'm currently training a DJ and my co-host is going to Italy so I have to give her her DJ exam by myself. So it's not like I can just peace on my show altogether.
And what's even more annoying is that I've been getting 800 emails from people asking for me to sub for them on that Friday, since basically this campus will be a ghost town after Thursday night. I even emailed the head of programming directly and asked her when our off air date was and she didn't write back. What is the secret?!?! Are we just not gonna go off air and have to come in during our spring breaks and do our show??? I don't get it!
To top all that off, all my friends have had their Friday classes before spring break cancelled! Mine is still on!!! Ughhh if our off air date was on Thursday and my one Friday class was cancelled I would be the happiest person on earth.
