Death of an American Lady

An American lady, Vanessa Virginiensis, passed away quietly in our back yard Tuesday, of suspected insecticide poisoning. Found seemingly dead in the street, she was brought inside and was observed to have occasional tremors and twitching over the next few hours. It's part of the cycle of life. A butterfly dies, and ants and slugs have a meal. I wish it wasn't from pesticides, though. :(
