The bone-eating snot flower

There is a marine worm called the bone-eating snot flower.  They eat the bones of dead whales on the ocean floor.  They have no stomachs or mouths.  Between 50 and 100 microscopic dwarf males live inside the females.  They are one of the stranger creatures I've heard of.
