Friday Movie Extra: San Francisquito Creek
Friday Movie Extra (same as Monday Movies, but on Friday): 20 seconds (more or less) of video from the world around me.
Today: A couple of short videos of the extremely high waters in San Francisquito Creek, just short of flood stage, after the barrage of rainstorms in the area recently.
At Chaucer, the water was 8 feet deep at the time of filming (it was twice that one week earlier and almost cresting the road).

At Waverly, the water was probably close to 8 feet (the gauging station at that location is either off-line, non-functional, or no longer there).

The force of the higher flood waters toppled the small trees that had gotten a foothold in the creek bed, dry for years during the prolonged drought.
The previous times I was there, I trod on dry gravel and sand in the creek bed.
