Babelfishing Poetry: "I Became An Atom"

Here we go with more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, tweak the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's feature is contemporary composer Christopher Cerrone's minimalist "Swept Up Whole," from his song cycle The Pieces That Fall to Earth for soprano and chamber orchestra (watch video here).  Enjoy.

I Became An Atom

You did not finally stop
an unpleasant feeling of honor.

I became an atom.

The wind blows.
The brothers became one.

Wow.
