Here are some pics from a visit on Sunday to Stevens Creek County Park and sitting quietly for a while on a pebbly shoal to relax and observe the environment.

Fry in the creek, which might be California roach, rainbow trout, or Sacramento sucker, I don't know which.
Dogwood leaves reach out into a patch of sunlight.
