On Sunday D. and I spent some time at the nearby Baylands nature preserve, and I took some pics.

The reason I've been sneezin': goldenrod.
Gadwall and avocet in the slough.
A small plane takes off from Palo Alto Airport into hazy air (the wind shifted and brought in more wildfire smoke).
The hazy air doesn't seem to impede the number of flights at the airport.
A northern harrier cruises over the slough.
A China Air cargo jet heads toward San Francisco International Airport.
The tide is the highest I've ever seen it here; it is likely a king tide.
