Los Gatos Creek Trail

On Sunday D. and I had to change our proposed field trip destination 4 times to account for the pervasive wildfire smoke, and once we realized the air quality was better to the south, we decided on the Los Gatos Creek Trail.  Here are the pics I took.

A look upstream.

The water seems to be choked with Ludwigia hexapetala, Uruguayan water primrose.

A bee visits a blossom.

Spearmint at the creek's edge.

A cardinal meadowhawk dragonfly rests on a twig.

Tiny fish in the creek.

Floofs are a signal summer is winding down.

Looking downstream.

Canada geese have a swim in the creek.
