Construction Site
There was no field trip this past weekend due to illness, so here are some pics of activity at the construction site next door to me, where they are going to build a 470-unit apartment complex over the next couple of years. I have a front-row seat for observing all the action from my windows.
There are huge machines doing gnarly work.
Some look very complicated.
Many days there is a never-ending cavalcade of trucks getting filled with excavated soil as they dig out the complex's foundations. The trucks go to the nearby landfill, dump their soil, return to the construction site to get filled again, head out for the landfill, etc., etc., all day long.
