On Saturday D. and I went out to Redwood Shores to enjoy the Bay Trail near Belmont Slough. Here are some of the pics I took.
Belmont Slough, as the tide begins to go out.
A cormorant rests on a power line tower.
For a few hundred yards, the trail crosses into Foster City, and we are briefly on the levee-pedway.

In the slough, we see a northern pintail duck.
A group of Canada geese goes overhead.
A little golden plover strides along the mudflats.
This willet is up to its belly in the water of the slough.
