Calero County Park, Part 2

Here's Part 2 of my visit to Calero County Park (part 1 here).

A bee exits a California buttercup.

Butterfly belly.

The Figueroa Trail next to Calero Creek is woodsy and shady.

Johnny Jump-ups in a sunny meadow.

Leptosiphon.

Blue dicks is a pretty flower with a peculiar name (but it is easier to pronounce than Dichelostemma capitatum).

A grassy field below the ridge, where we had to turn around.

A fly visits a California poppy.

Bee on peppergrass.

Ponies are led to Calero Creek for a drink.

The gate is open; no horses loose at this time.
