Babelfishing Poetry: "All Back Hair And A Dictionary"
Hello! Lovely to see you, and woohoo, it's Friday already. Hooray! It's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, scramble the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week's song is Don Henley's classic "
Boys of Summer" (watch video
here). Enjoy.
All Back Hair And A Dictionary
Method.
Everyone's at the beach.
I think it's bleeding and sharp.
In the days that follow the summer, here in the beginning.
It is empty, as the sky and the sea.
Just a few crabs.
I am a funhouse,
although I'm not sure.
Forget the night.
Promise the moon, itself known.
I don't cook; you crazy?
Praise God for her latest, always.
We evaluate mold now.
But because we have to restore,
the Tao will be shown.
On the way to today, Caesar saw a short article on the Cadillac didhid.
Talk a little bit of her hair and said, ''Let me speak more than you. I will not see it again."
I know what natural wisdom is;
do you know?
Spend time.
Peter can row alone.
I can see
green skin with sun explosions,
all back hair and a dictionary.
Can you tell me what it's like to have energy?
Time dies, hot boys.
