Port of Redwood City
On Saturday D. and I went to the
Port of Redwood City and nearby Pacific Shores business park to wander around, and I took some pics.
Sailboats at the marina.
Barnacles.
Tanker rail cars at Clean Harbors Environmental Services at the Port.
Storage tanks at Seaport Refining.
White fleurs grow along the Frontage Rd.
Frontage Road.
Mallard ducks hang out next to the railroad tracks.
Stop.
A duck in a ditch.
Silos at the Cemex cement plant rise like stark monuments to the Industrial Age.
At the end of Frontage Road we turn toward the Pacific Shores business park to walk a bit of the Bay Trail.
The roof of this office building has scoops on it.
A sailboat cruises from Westpoint Harbor into Redwood Creek.
The business park, with its landscaped lawns, ponds and fountains is a favorite place for birds to gather, such as Canada geese and mallard ducks.
We see a cheerful daisy on our way back home.
