Heron's Head Park
On Saturday D. and I had an errand to do in San Francisco and before heading home we took a brief stroll in
Heron's Head Park on the edge of San Francisco Bay, where we saw the wastewater treatment system inside the park's EcoCenter, plus the stuff at neighboring Pier 96 and the wildlife in the marsh (wildflowers, western gulls, willets, whimbrels, coots, ruddy ducks, spotted sandpipers, a raven, and a brown pelican diving for fish).
