Summmmmmmmer
Haven't been too active lately, aside from mandatory things such as work, reffing, and baseball. The off and on rain weather really doesn't make me too happy, especially having to ref sunday morning where first it was 40 degrees, then 90 minutes later it was pouring rain @ 40 degrees...just miserable. but thats part of living up here and part of the strange reason why i think i want to live around boston for a long time.
im going to make this claim now, because i really dont have much else to write. I'm not an alcoholic, or anything close to being one, and im not really a person that drinks an extreme amount. i realize the stories i write about kinda make it seem that way, but thats just because interesting stuff happens, be it for good or bad, and i just write what i can remember. Jim was taking his boss's daughter to a prom, and the other night they went out to dinner and everything, and with her daughter in the back seat, knowing jim isnt 21, her mom says "there's nothing better than knowing you have a cold beer waiting for you when you get home." not 5 beers, or 10, or a whole 30, but 1. most people agree the first is the best anyways, and thats pretty much how i feel. until i start feeling urges to drink and theres a need for it in my body, there isnt a problem for me. i start and stop when i please, and i enjoy having a couple of brews and watching a sox game, its just a nice relaxing time with my friends.
just felt id throw that out there, seems after the last episode it sparked the idea that scottys a huge drunk and he's going to kill himself because of it...its not going to happen, as long as i can prevent it.
anyways, ive been playing lots of City of Heroes lately, which is a game where you get to make your own superhero, and they have unlimited possibilities, so you really get to make whoever you want. and then as your character gets older, you learn new spells and have to fight crime and all that, its pretty fun.
im glad summer is here, but my one class starts on the 19th i think, but its monday and wednesday from 9-1, not a big deal. plus, its in the field i want to go in to, so it should be really interesting and give me some good chances to write productive material.
two days off in a row from work is boring, i would much rather have them spaced out throughout the week. at least it stopped raining for a little while...
