Hockey tonight, Bruins have a chance to FINALLY make it out of the first round, which is big looking at the last few years and the disastrous first rounds they've had.
Two rainouts in a row for the sox, which has meant 3 full days of much less live baseball, which i needed a break from. Pedro starts tonight again in a rematch of opening day when the sox lost despite a relatively solid start from our ace. anyone who wants to see why some people have trouble considering baseball a sport, look at the fat slob of an orioles pitcher tonight.
me and jim are goin to the game saturday against the yankees, which is my first yankees/sox game, and im definately looking forward to that. what sucks is so many of the games have such limited seating available, theres only so many games i can go to. but as long as its not a) a yankees game b) an important game or c)an interleague game, there will always be scalpers. god bless 'em.
as far as non baseball...our 50 page report already has over 30 pages written, and that was just with 2-3 days of all of us kind of focusing on it. 50 is gonna be really eay to write; making all the people sound like the same writer and keeping the whole thing interesting is the tough part. making "one voice" in a paper when its actually 7 is a challenge you dont come across much, but one of the kids in my group is an editor for the school paper, so we have a nice advantage there.
last night crazy dan and this kis aaron came over, and they painted...dan brought all his paints and a tarp and some canvasses, so now we are slowly building an art gallery on the walls, and it looks pretty good. some of it is more abstract, some is more grounded, but it gives good color and fung shwei to the room. or something, im talking out of my ass.
if anyone wants to come over and watch the first yankees/sox game tomorrow night, you're more than welcome. if you want to drink, bring a few beers cuz we're low right now, if not, come over and watch some entertaining baseball between two of the best teams in the league.
