SO, I've been listening to Fall Out Boy's new album, and I have to say that I do like a majority of the songs. It does kind of sound like a mixture of FUCT and IoH. I'm starting to like it. Okay, so I went to the iTunes store to see the top albums today, surprised to see Folie A Deux on the list at #7. So I clicked the link to read the reviews and I starting reading the iTunes written review.
Well...it's completely wrong in every way. I want to know who fucking wrote that review. They must have gotten someone who hates FOB to write it, or some serious music snob. See for yourself if you have iTunes, but to save some time I've screencapped it:
Now, What the fuck? I mean...what? I've been an FOB fan since 2005, but ultimately I love all of their music, especially Evening Out... and Take This To Your Grave. I don't listen, nor will I ever..listen to the Beatles, so I don't understand the fact that Panic's and FOB's albums are getting compared to them.
This album sounds like past FOB stuff, I don't understand the comparison's to Panic's new album either. I've been listening to that album more recently and I've started to like some of the songs, but I don't think that Folie A Deux and Pretty Odd have anything in common. So, yeah...FOB used some instrumentals/orchestra in the new album...uh didn't they do that in some songs on Infinity on High? Ugh. This is seriously effed up.
And as for the guest appearances, the only one I noticed at first was Brendon Urie from Panic on "20 Dollar Nosebleed" and the random appearances during the past FOB song montage at the end of "What A Catch, Donnie". I didn't even notice the other appearances that were mentioned. IDK Anymore..*sighs*
GAAH. WTF.
