Hello invisible blog friends, it’s been ages! Steve and I just got back from two weeks in the US, and are just about over our jet-lag. Hey,
Sorry I have been out of touch for while have been so busy working at things here and glued to whats going on with the US elections, that I have not written for ages. I must say that I am so happy Obama won, I was rooting for him from the start of this all. But man does he have a massive job infront of him, more so than any othe US presidency.

Page One, I do agree with you, yes the US does have that image of the American Dream, Land of Prosperity and all that, but as you see once you scratch the surface the daily living for those that are not so wealthy is far from ideal and to my mind down right depressing far more so that in for many of us in Canada, NZ or Australia. It too makes me wonder, how people cope there and also makes me grateful for what I have.
Food for thought: Is there sucha thing as having enough? I think there is,like when you have shelter, good food in your belly adn good family and feinds. How ever many might say not thats the essntials and that there should be more to have and to strive for, what do you think?
