The soundtrack of my life

Last night we had a great home group at our place and then when everyone left Steve told me about a thread on one of his music forums about “songs that give you shivers”. You know the ones - the ones that are so good or so meaningful or so clever or all three that you get that great cold shiver down your back. He told me his list, and it had some on it that I wouldn’t have chosen (Primus, anyone?) but we did have some similarities. We got all excited about it and I dragged out my records to find my favourite on-scratchy-vinyl version of Peter Gabriel’s Here Comes the Flood. Then he played one of his favourites, Sting singing Burn for You live, which is just sublime. Then he got his guitar and sang Still Fighting It by Ben Folds, which is a favourite of both of ours. It was so cool, and reminded me of the early days when we were going out, as we listened to a lot more music together then than we do now. So
