Go ahead and tell me that I didn't treat my mother well, tonight.  I dare you.  I cooked for her only the best first-class freshwater shrimp.  Shrimp so colossal that they were like miniature lobster tails  the size of your palm, with shells and tails so thick that you couldn't eat them like I normally always love doing, and requiring steak knives to cut them.  Shellfish meat so tender and juicy, you just don't know what to do with yourself.  Cooked to perfection by yours bloody truly, through fear that I'd screw them up. I didn't.  The fuckers were perfect.  3-4 of them were enough atop a roasted zucchini and eggplant bed.  And, I fed her only the best wine to wash it down with.  She tried to open her cheap red, and I gasped and said "oh, no you don't", and let her have her fill of the best baco noir that I've ever had.  We sat and supped, and had most poignant and important conversation, as sometimes happens.  A conversation that might end up actually being worth quite a bit of money, as I now dig futher into information from this conversation, following our fantastic meal.

My mother, adopted, was born in an asylum where her birth mother was a resident, and that asylum changed names which later turned out to be part of a $36,000,000 class-action lawsuit settlement for the residents and/or kin during a specific timeframe.  There could be a chance that she is entitled to compensation.  Although the timeframe of my mother's conception, birth, and adoption is nearly two decades prior to the window specified, there's hardly any doubt that my mother's mother was a direct victim of the same abuse of its successor, and my mom the direct result of said abuse.

Can you imagine?  As I was doing the dishes, proud of my supper and treating my mom, daring the gods and passed spirits to find fault in it and not be proud of me for it, this information was just waiting for me to find within the same hour.  Can you imagine if anything comes of it?  Imagine if my mother is part of 36 million dollars waiting for her to simply say the word and come collecting, just for being conceived and born as she was because of the abuses her mother suffered?  Now, that's something to think on, isn't it?
