:chuckle: I am not going to even THINK of Rev. Henry EVER retiring from that job..I refuse to allow it, he is too awesome!!! LOLOL
BUT..I am seriously considering going through the DRE Credentialing process after a couple of years if I turn out to be good at it. When I first got it in my mind to go into education, I had thought of academics, but never felt comfortable with the idea of going to college for the full 9 yards because I never felt confident enough to teach academics to such a large group of people. (I am too obsessive compulsive to do that on a large scale basis, it would drive me nuts! LMAO) BUT...I never thought before of teaching as a spiritual person until now, and the more I think on it, the more I think that a career combining my love of education with my love of spirituality is the way to try for.
It would be so much more rewarding for me, while still allowing me time to take care of my family. (something that is Lacking in academics if you want to do a good job for the many students you would have every day!) Besides...I have always felt that to do well at academics, you have to have a good spiritual/community/home foundation first. So, we shall see.
I will be doing my first Story for All Ages tomorrow. I am slightly nervous, but more so excited because I am not going to actually be reading from a book this time around. I am choosing the way of the story teller for this first run. Wish me luck! :)
