My kid rocks!

Yeah baby! David had his first Kenpo Karate Tournament today and got second place in grappling (Ground street fighting/wrestling) He beat out a yellow belt and a green belt, and ended up having to lose out on first to a purple belted ten year old girl who stood two heads taller and who had a slight weight problem. He didn't stand a chance against her...but boy did he do absolutely phenomenal against the other kids. I had other parents complimenting him...saying how impressed they were that he was the lowest belt rank whooping butt on the grappling mat. :)

So, he left with two cool participation medals for his form and sparring, and a cute second place trophy, and he is the smallest and newest in the class.
