Good Weekend

Haven't updated in a while except for my random news stories, so here goes:

Andrew and I had a really good weekend! We've gotten back into WoW (I knew it was only a matter of time!), so we played ALOT of that. Tee hee. We're gaming with our friend Cheryl who lives in Ohio. The three of us are totally awesome and we can do these crazy 5-person raids with just the 3 of us. Yep, we badass.

Anyway, we played pretty much all day on Saturday, but I did make a yummy dinner that evening. I tried out a new recipe for a rice-zucchini-red pepper casserole. It was very much made of yum. Andrew enjoyed it. Speaking of the hubby, we're having a g-chat right now and when I asked him what he wanted for dinner, he said "veggies are good." I'm so proud of him. :-) He never liked veggies until he met me. It's so awesome.

Anyway, so Saturday dinner was yummy, and then we watched the beginning of the Cyrano de Bergerac B'way revival on PBS. Kevin Kline was amazing, but we had to turn it off because OMG Jennifer Garner was so terrible.

We were actually really productive on Sunday. We cleaned the apartment, did dishes, did laundry, etc. Very good day. We rewarded ourselves with a couple of hours of WoW before we went to have dinner with friends. Josh & Christina have been friends of mine since college, and they're now our "couple friends" whenever we feel the need for some double date time. They are so happily in love it's adorable. Christina is in the very early weeks of her pregnancy (omg, like everyone I know is sprouting babies!), and it's just really nice to hang out with them. They have a Wii, so we ended up playing that. Andrew proved to everyone that he is indeed "amazing at every game imaginable" as I had told everyone beforehand. The bowling was really fun--I liked that the best! The tennis seemed really difficult, but Andrew did well (of course).

And thus ended the fun weekend. Productive, playful, sociable, domestic. Ahhh...yay married life! I am really liking my new life with the hubby, but I just can't wait to be in NYC. I think there our lives will really take off and I'll be a whole lot happier. Speaking of, I'm getting Andrew's resume ready for some NY recruiters, so keep your fingers crossed that he gets something soon! It's a really good time to move out there before it gets horribly hot and humid.

Well, that's it for the update! Thanks for reading. :-)
