Good Weekend!
Unfortunately it's Monday once more, but Andrew and I did have a fun weekend. Saturday we went to Crate & Barrel, which is always fun, but this time we had money! We'd received a few gift cards from the wedding, so we had a very nice time picking out some cool stuff. We got a cheese board (for a wine & cheese party we want to host), martini glasses (chocolatini tastes way better in them!), a neat cutting board, and a couple of new skillets. What was even more fun was trying to get all of this stuff home when we only brought Andrew's tiny car! Oops. I spent the drive home buried in Crate & Barrel paraphernalia.
The shopping fun continued on Sunday when we went to Downtown Disney. Got some cute things for Wes' third birthday.
The weekend was rounded out with the continued saga of "The X-Files," since I'm trying to get Andrew caught up in time for the film. We're nearly finished with the ninth (and final) season. Phew.
In work related news: I have an interview on Wednesday morning...hopefully that will go well and I'll get something a bit more stable than what I have now. And I'm also looking into some part-time options. Andrew doesn't want me to work a second job, but I think we could really use it.
Name change stuff: I got my letter from the SS office that my name change went through! Yay. The federal government now knows me as "Hoskins." I tried to make a DMV appointment today, and got scheduled out a month. Pfft. Annoying. So I still can't change any other records because I won't have an updated ID to show them. Bah. The name change process is SO easy, it's really annoying that it takes so long. Bleh.
Party planning is going well...and Andrew still doesn't know of the super secret gift.
