Life Update
Yay, I have tomorrow off from work! Andrew and I are taking this weekend to finish up getting our apartment in order post-wedding. And then there are the thank you cards we haven't even started yet...bleh.
We're also planning on heading out to the beach to see the crazy harbor fireworks. That should be fun, though it's usually pretty crowded.
Andrew picked up copies of our marriage certificate at the Hall of Records, so now I can submit my paperwork to get my name legally changed...Hoskins, here we come!
I'm planning Andrew's birthday party which should be super fun. His friends are all excited and Andrew's finally getting "into" the idea...he's not much of a center-of-attention-person (and he's a Leo?). I've been pretty sneaky about the super-secret gift that I'll be standing in line for on July 11th (ugh)! And I'm picking out a pretty awesome cake for him, so all party planning is going really well.
Also getting ready for the upcoming August birthdays...damn summer babies!
On a less-than-pleasant front, Andrew and I are in negotiations with our wedding photographer to get some of our money back. He missed several shots that were on our "Must Take" list and his shutter speed was so low that many pictures are out-of-focus. We're especially disappointed about the missed shots, so we're making a case for about 25% of our money back as compensation for that. We'll see how that goes....
Speaking of photography, my free photographer (who took those awesome engagement shots of us) is scouting locations this weekend for our TTD session! I'm so super excited about this! This is my time to be a total Vogue-esque model! (Hopefully I still fit in my dress!! I haven't been very good in regards to desserts recently!)
