Post NYC and all
Hello LJ world! It's been a while since I've updated, I know...my apologies. Life's been busy here in the pre-wedding/pre-moving world!
Andrew and I got back from NYC (ugh, US Airways!) and had an absolute blast! I'll try to do a full post-trip post with pictures and all sometime soon. But basically, the trip solidified our wanting to move out there, so now we're talking to a realtor (eek!) and trying to figure out our timeline. We know for sure that we want to live in Manhattan, and of the affordable areas, we really like the NoHo/SoHo/Greenwich Village areas best. I seriously can't wait until we can move out there. I already miss it! It's such a different way of living, and the city has this unique feel about it, this energy that's so exciting to be in. We really tried to live like New Yorkers while we were out there, and we both took to it almost immediately. Sigh. It was awesome.
Andrew had his wisdom teeth surgery yesterday morning and is recovering nicely (damn him his quick recovery! I'm bitter since my surgery was so completely awful).
And in wedding news: our handfasting cord and truce bell (thanks, Mom) came in today!
