Do-It-Yourself Monday . . .
Well, we started out planning to paint the bambino's room today.
Instead, Gryff and I ended up installing three ceiling fans total (one in each kid's room) and replacing a dimmer switch in the bambino's room, which will eventually be moved to the dining room. The bambino's old light fixture is going out in the hallway to replace the 1950's amber glass oh-my-gods-it's-butt-ugly light in the next few days.
We made two trips to Home Depot, buying painting supplies, light switches, (thanks for the anniversary gift certificate Mom!) and planning future projects. There will be much buying of Behr and Rustoleum paints in the months ahead! We discovered Rustoleum's chalkboard and magnetic paints too (oh, the evil plans . . .) And rumor has it that the stuff we need goes on sale July 4th weekend. And there's a paycheck right around then, possibly with a little paint money in it . . .
Time to add a few more colors to the "painting shorts", I suppose. All right!!!!
