A women in her mid forties brushes the soft brown curls off of her face as she continues to pound away at the keyboard of her high-tech computer. She is in the midst of finishing the layout for your young womens magazine "Faces". Between faxes and phone calls she escapes the office like a caged bird into the free world. Her eldest child plays on the grand piano as if her fingers were meant to dance with the white keys. This was a dream she had had long ago, but smiles that her daughter has set out to achieve it. Phenyx, glaring with her puppy brown eyes, stares up at her mother with love. The woman's hand gently glades the face of her daughter as she walks into the sunstreamed backyard to see her other two children playing in the pool. Her second born, Gabriel is only fourteen, but already has the fine chiseled features of a young man and the heart of a lion. He jestingly pushes his younger sister, Samyeah, into the pool, but the jokes on him as she grabs his shirt and he falls in with her. She leans against her house, shuts her eyes, and basks in the warmness of life.
