Wellness, to me, is balance and health in mind, body and spirit.

In maintaining this for each:
Physically: I eat well as I can, exercise, use the stairs where I can, and walk most everywhere I need to go.

Mental: I have healthy relationships, reflect often, and talk about issues as they come up. I maintain healthy communication and do what I can to make myself happy.

Spiritual: I have daily prayer and meditation, reflection and spiritual exercises. I maintain good relationships between myself, my Gods, and spirits. I also question my experiences, and continuously try to be sure of where I am and where I am going spiritually.

Wellness is having the flexibility to deal with situations as they arise, without being drained of energy or other vital resources. For example, if you are physically well, you are able to fight off most infections, bounce back quickly from minor injuries, and heal quickly from illnesses, which are relatively rare because you are healthy and strong ( ... )
