A Little Princess--the sequel
Yes, someone's written a sequel to A Little Princess. The review in the Christian Science Monitor makes it sound good, but I'd have to reread the original to remember the characters at the boarding school whose lives are dealt with in Wishing for Tomorrow by Megan Whalen Turner, a Newberry Honor winner.
