Boy confesses his love in some fashion to a boy he has a crush on, via the lastest social networking websites online chat. The loved boy is obviously straight, but the gay boy figures, what the heck, and goes for it anyway. He later tries to play it off as being drunk.
This could either be actually shown, or relayed to the boy's friends at dance the day after it happens.
A few months later, or perhaps later down the road, he either meets up with the boy at another summer program, or in a company they both join, and it comes up like this:
Gay boy: So.. Sorry about coming onto you and all that.
Straight boy: Yeah.. well, I suppose it's fine. But you know I really am straight.
GB: Oh, I always knew. I mean-- Well, let's just say you don't want to know how drunk I was...
SB: Really? I heard you don't drink..?
GB: *Facepalm* You really don't want to know how drunk I was. (implying he was sober)
