Awwwwwww mannnnn
So, yesterday I found out some cool stuff. My parents went to my brother's friends birthday party yesterday, because he lives just up the hill from us. It turns out, that their neighbor is a guy. Named Phillip (which is also my name, if you forgot). Likes Japan, and lived there for several years. Is married to a Japanese lady. Has some sort of dojo attached to his house. And I think he does flower arrangement. And he and his wife seem enthusiastic about helping me practice Japanese (although I don't know whether they think I actually know any, which I don't).
It's good that I'm learning this four months before I will definitely be moved. I mean, it would have sucked if I knew this years, or even months ago, and could possibly have learned things from them or something.
But that's nobody's fault really, I guess.
Also, a principal dancer for PNB (big dance company in Seattle, pretty much biggest in Washington I think?) lives up the street from me as well! When did my neighborhood become so relevant to my interests? WHEN?!

I made whipped cream last night! It's alright, but not as sweet as regular premade stuff. Still, it tasted great with what I made. I used some cake cups somebody gave us (that nobody else in my house will probably eat, and we have like four packages of) and made strawberry shortcake. It was really good. I made thirds. But I'm afraid I'm gonna get fat now.

So um, today we had conditioning at dance. I was stupid and when we were doing high skips, right when I did the last circle and got right to the end I came down right on my foot and stubbed it. But with actual force, you know? So it still hurts when I move my toes around, but hopefully it'll get better quickly. By the end of the day I hope..?
Also, cast list for Dracula came up today. It's ACTUALLY OUT WITHIN A WEEK! That's a miracle in our studio, it's usually out two weeks after the set date.
Everyone is kind of pissed about it. I haven't told my really good friend that she isn't a vampire yet, and I think she's going to get kinda upset. :( Plus, I have to dance with the girl I was partnered with in Coppelia, and I really.. did not enjoy that, exactly.
I know it'll all work out. As long as nobody throws a shit fit. But the people who WOULD throw shit fits got the parts they'll probably be wanting, and the people who didn't get the parts they wanted will probably just get really pissed and cuss some people out behind their backs.
I'll be interested to see, though.
