It has been, once again, just one of those days where you wanna lay around in bed all day in your peejays, and guess what I did all afternoon.....layed around in bed in my peejays! The weather has totally been sucking and I've just been a bum for the past two days. Although I can't say that this lazy weekend was not well deserved. I haven't had a Saturday free since the freaking semester started. Unless I skip my morning classes, that's the only chance I have to sleep late during the week because I sing on Sunday mornings at Our Lady of Fatima (which is my job now). We have our Phi Mu Alpha meeting tonight and the president, Robin, came bring me his gavel because he can't be at the meetings which means I, as vice president, will be running the meeting. This week should be pretty easy and stress free. We only have three days of school due to some dudes in crazy hats hitting a rock in New England over 400 years ago. haha.....i'm really not a humbug for the holidays, it just sounded funny to describe Thanksgiving in that way. I really love the holidays. I'll be going to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Money Hill, which is just north of Abita Springs on the northshore, for Thanksgiving lunch, then down to Cut Off for dinner that night, I assume. I'll be down there till Saturday evening, since I have to sing Sunday morning. It'll be good to see my family and friends that I don't see too often, however I have been blessed this semester to have opportunities to see various members of my family, especially my parents, quite often. I used to dread going to Cut Off, but now, things have changed. My parents and I have a much more understanding relationship, as in, they understand that I'm 20 years old now and am responsible enough to make decisions for myself. I mean, I found this house on my own. I paid everything to move out of my own money ($1200 bucks initially). I'm not saying that I don't depend on them, but it's just not as much, and it took two years for my parents to get over that, I guess. It's all good now. Well, time for some pork loin. Until next time...adieu.
