Curse you unindentified tormentor!
Frickin' flu. Why does it have to come now? *shakes fist* That and it hasn't rained properly in how long? And then it decides to do it for my 21st? Someone up there is determined that I should have the worst hangover of all time I think.
Because *not* drinking on my 21st is just unacceptable.
Therefore, I shall be sick and probably out in the rain at some point in the night and it will take me at least a week to recover. I suppose it will give me a chance to use some of my sick leave though. :P I keep running into people I haven't seen in ages. For instance, today I ran into Chris B who used to work with me until he found something better to do! He's coming to my party now, which is cool. I'm endeavouring to get Dom (another old work friend) to be there as well. His brother Josh has just started back at the cafe in store and hopefully they will both be in attendance.
I'm a little worried I'm going to either fall out of my dress or fall on my ass in my shoes on the night though. I've had these shoes since I worked at Myer but they're not broken in because I've worn them once since I bought them, I will be attempting to remedy that over the coming week. I have a bit of time on my hands because I only have one shift at work on Wednesday. I *will not* be wearing either shoes or dress into town after wards as I do not have a death wish. Which is what drinking and heels equals for me (and probably the shoes).
On another note, I went to my first StreetGeek LAN Friday night. It was fun except I drank two cups of coffee and then an hour later realised I should be going to bed because I had work the next day. As you can probably guess I had about three hours sleep that night. I was okayish on Saturday but absolutely wrecked Sunday. I slept for about eleven hours last night. Good times.
