Well I'm killing some time on Gavin's laptop until Norton finishes scanning my computer. It takes forever (probably longer than for anyone else because my computer is a complete piece of shite. I have to get a new one. Preferably a laptop because I love them so much and could then take my sadly ignored writing everywhere and maybe get some more done.
I blame it on the fact that it is so noisy at home with the little kids but I'm sure it's just because I suck. How would a laptop improve this current dismal state of events you ask? It just would. Trust me.
That and they're totally cool.
Michael the computer guy came around to look at our computers today and basically just confirmed that my computer sucks big time. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that thinks it. On the upside, hopefully it will have improved a little bit now because I have killed Reason 3 on it and now only have one antivirus program on there as opposed to one and Norton being a little un-uninstalling bitch.
I have lost my FFVII cd for my computer as well which is sad because I have been wanting to play it lately. I could have been doing writing instead, yes, but FFVII is totally awesome. You can't deny it.
I go back to working a normal roster next week after a month of doing two shifts a week. No longer will I be sitting around doing nothing, justifing the fact that I'm not writing when I could in fact BE writing.
Why all the writing bitching? Well
purplkat has inspired me and now I feel bad that I am so lazy with mine. That and Steve wants to do a sci-fi collaboration in addition to the incredibly slow moving
Angkast. I want to write more on that but I feel Rulana at least should have a chance to do a bit of reacting before Cian runs away from Northford. Steve was going to write more Zeke but apparently got two words down, hated them, deleted them and went on to do something else.
Haven't got my results for SAE yet. Still convinced I have failed horribly and there have been no more tours as yet after the Convention Centre. Which is sad because I am really looking forward to seeing inside some of these venues, like the Festival Theatre and the ABC. I'm too chicken to ring up and ask for my results however. Mum is worrying that they're going to go broke and I won't get my diploma, to which I blithly point out, if I've failed I won't get my diploma anyway.
Suffice to say, the undercurrent of utter panic is still pervading my life to an uncomfortable degree.
