Some college stuff and such

I just realized that I've never posted my schedule for the fall term this year. I registered back in June, and my schedule went through a couple changes last week, but here's where it is in its almost final stage:

Monday-- 10:20-11:15 a.m. Intermediate German
11:25 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Music Theory I
Tuesday-- 9:45-11:10 a.m. The Joy of Music
11:20 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Persuasion & Leadership (some required Freshman class, I think)
Wednesday-- 10:20-11:15 a.m. Intermediate German
11:25 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Music Theory I
4:10-5:05 p.m. Aural Skills Lab I
7:10-9:10 p.m. University Concert Band
Thursday-- 9:45-11:10 a.m. The Joy of Music
11:20 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Persuasion & Leadership
6:00-6:55 p.m. First Year Workshop
Friday-- 10:20-11:15 a.m. Intermediate German
11:25 a.m.- 12:20 p.m. Music Theory I

SOmewhere in there I'll also have my private lessons in trumpet, which I'm supposed to schedule with my teacher once I get on campus and we both know our schedules a little better. Also, on Wednesday afternoons, I think, I have this required performance attendance, which is just me going to these lunchtime performances at the school. So, Wednesday is going to be my crazy day, and Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are going to be my pretty easy days. I ordered all of my books the other day, they should be gettnig here within the next week or two. Except for my Sight singing one for Aural Skills Lab, because it doesn't even come out until August 14, heh. Yup. Should be pretty sweet. I was signed up for a history class, but I got out of it because of my AP Euro History score; then I found out that I'm way ahead, especially in history, so I didn't even need to replace it with another. So now I'm taking 15 credit hours, which is right around (slightly above) average for freshmen, as opposed to 18 which might've been suicide, apparently. And when I send them my PCC transcript (for the transferrable stuff from the high school) I might be a semester ahead, making me a sophomore by mid-December, when the term ends. Crazy, huh?

I was listening to this year's FGHS marching band music last night and a little this morning, and now I have "Walking On the Sun" stuck in my head; it's so catchy! Percussion feature, it's pretty sweet. Well, I'm going to go, so I'll talk to you all later.
Love,
Paul
