23 days to go...
We went to Floral Supply Syndicate today and picked up a bunch of stuff... 18 vases for centerpieces, an aisle runner, wide ribbon for pew bows, satin ribbon for bouquets, pearl-head pins, wristlets for the moms' wrist corsages, and even the cake server and knife. So that's a lot of things I can check off my list, yay. :) I'm going to order the flowers from Costco now and get that over with.
I decided that September 20th would be a good date to MOVE. Yes, Amanda's Annual Moving Party will be held once again... and for the LAST TIME (until Tim and I get a bigger place that is). So I guess I should call it Amanda's LAST Annual Moving Party. I just realized that I've moved pretty much once a year (twice a year while in college!) since September 2000. That's EIGHT YEARS! Oy. I'm done with moving. Finally I will be able to unpack everything and leave it unpacked. Woot!
Details will come later after I've rented a truck. In the past a lot of people have showed up to help (more than needed, really), which is awesome. This year I no longer have a bed and I'm just going to chuck the old mattresses in the garbage, so that's less stuff to move. I've already started taking carloads of things over to Tim's too. I need to try and dump some kitchen stuff off on someone too because between the two of us we have way too many plastic cups and sets of silverware, lol. Maybe Tyler will take some of it.
Anyone want a toaster or a really cool blue cube microwave (with a revolving plate)? I have a Dirt Devil to ditch too, but I don't know if it actually works.
