I cut out sleeves last night from medium gray satin (long, wider at the cuff) and made patterns for the sleeve designs that I will make out of light gray (almost white) satin that will be hand-sewn on top of the darker gray. Tier 4 priest "Incarnate Regalia"/"Incarnate Raiment" from World of Warcraft. My story is that I'm a Tier 6 Holy Priest that has been forced to DPS Karazhan to help her boyfriend get his new level 60 geared, and thus I'm forced to wear my neglected DPS Smiting gear.

Really though, EVERYONE and their mother is doing Tier 6 priest armor, and I like the purple Tier 4 armor, plus it doesn't look too difficult, and the shoulders glow. I think it will be cool.

I haven't decided what race yet, but the default (easy) is human. I have elf ears if I want to do Blood Elf, but I don't think I'm scrawny enough... alternatively I could go Night Elf by tilting the ears back, but that would require lots of make-up and a wig. Draenei would also require more make-up and I'm too tall to be a Dwarf. Undead would require make-up too and the whole bones-sticking-out-of-your-costume thing would probably just be dumb anyway.

The last alternative (and probably the most interesting) would be Troll. I would need to build feet, get tusks and a wig, some facial pieces like a Klingon forehead, and blue or green body paint.

I will probably stick with the human version, lol. Right now I'm just working on the armor itself.
