*hugs* I know you still miss her and that is fully understandable. She's still in your heart and with you in spirit. And your new kitty is there to help in her own way. Not as a replacement, but as something new to find a place in your heart.
I'll never get over her. She was not just the most beautiful animal in my whole world, she was also the most wise, loving and sharing creature I ever met. I am not sure it'll ever be that way (in her own way) with the new one, because we're not going along together that well. I never had so many scratches and bitemarks at once in my entire life as she's giving me now. And, no, it's not just playfullness. I know kitties, I have had them all my life. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I can only guess that she gets bored with me, because there is so little I can do because of my health issues. Perhaps it would have been wiser to get myself an older cat.
Maybe the new kitty is still adjusting? Perhaps she needs sometime before she becomes to used to everything. Maybe then she be a very content cozy cat.
I hope so but I am afraid that I took on a task that I can't really fulfill. 10 years ago, yes, but not today anymore. But thanks for being there for me.
I will always be here for you. :) I will think good thoughts that the kitty relaxes and enjoys her new home. Heck, I'd trade places with her if I could, lol.
Right now most of my stuff I no longer was given to a younger distant cousin whose grandmother (like me, she lives with her grandmother) can't afford any school clothes for her. We won't even mention how strange it is that and I and a 14 year-old girl are about the same size, lol. I'm small.
Well that is a very good cause too, don't you think? No, I am not gonna discuss it with you, I can't judge that because, sadly enough, I've never seen you (yet)
