India. Yea, India is where I grew up. I wouldn’t feel right isolating it to one house, or one room within a house as a place to qualify where I grew up.
India itself though, with all of it vastness was wonderful. The ‘location’ to where I grew up was in northern India, in a more flat, sunny region. The people where of course amazing and sweet, all understanding and great friends with my family. The food was also great here, like somosas and chicken curry, theres absolutely nothing like it.

As for the area, the weather was always sunny, and the towns where always busy. People vending things on the streets, selling mangos or spices, monkeys and cows roaming around freely. Of course with its beauty there was also a lot of pollution, which was always a bit of a hassle, but still the land was gorgeous.

The house that I did happen to grow up in was two stories, and made of stone. I still live in the same house now when I’m not at school actually. I love it for its large patio that looks over a small field filled with wild flowers and assortments of wild life, its always so beautiful.

My room was shared by my sister. It was painted a bright red color, and had two beds on the far back wall, adorned in beaded pillows and silk covers. On the walls where pictures of singers of the time and famous girls from India, in which for sometime I aspired to be like, of course that was before Hogwarts.

The rest of the house was decorated with flowers and pictures of family, all painted with vibrant colors and beads. A very wonderful place to live.
