(no subject)
Can you imagine.. a weekend update from me. I rarely hop onto LJ during the weekend but I am still taken in by my new computer and what all it can do. Now if they would only come out w/ some 64bit games so I can give this thing a real run for the money.
The thunder here today has been a bit bothersome. Brutus is real attuned to the weather and I guess the barometric pressure really gets to him because he can tell when it is going to storm about 30 minutes before it really gets here. The poor baby has been pawing at me all day because he is so frightened by the thunder.
So next weekend is the fourth of July. It's hard to believe that this year almost 1/2 over. Before long it will be time to be back in New Orleans for Halloween. Anyone else going this year. I made my plane reservations last week as well as my hotel reservations. It's amazing how much cheaper it can be if you do all of this well in advance and not wait until the last minute. I decided on taking a flight this year. The train trip was fun last year but I must admit. 11.5 hours of drinking before we got there was not the most ideal of situations. Besides, now that I really know what is going on and what to do I will want more time in the crescent city instead of spending nearly 24 hours on a train (round trip).
Well, I suppose I must be shoving off. I am in the process of making a new cd or two. I do love how fast this new burner is. I am buying an addition this coming week for the computer. I will be burning all of my VHS tapes to DVD. I have to buy this 200$ add on but it will save me so much room that I think it is worth it.

i do wish it would stop raining for just a few days. I am longing to see the sun.
Oh..hear this.. i will be staying in Atlanta the weekend of July 8th. I have a few friends coming into town. What is going on that weekend and anyone up for getting a bit on the drunk side with me a few of my friends?
