Priority: Low, with summary of the most important points at the end.
Grrrrrrrrrr. I just got woken up by the firemen working on our roof. At 8:30 am. After going to bed at about 4 am. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Of course, it's a good thing that they're finally clearing our roof of the snow. The danger of our roof collapsing got so high yesterday that my brother wasn't allowed to go into his room anymore (which is right beneath the part of the roof where the most snow is at). So my dad finally called the fire brigade. About time to. My poor brother had to sleep on the couch in the living room and was woken up by me coming home at about 3:30 am. Poor him. He wasn't angry though, he just chatted with me for a bit before going back to sleep.
My head huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurts. It shouldn't, really. I only had like, 3 drinks last night. *counts* Yup, three. One because there were free drinks for half an hour at the one place, one because there was one free drink included in the entrance fee of the other place, and one because some random drunk guy invited me on a drink. And I am mean and profit from random drunk guys who don't know what they're doing anymore. So, I dunno why my head thinks it should hurt. I wasn't the least bit drunk. But it hurts anyway. Stupid head.
As an aside, why do guys only ever hit on me when they're completely and utterly pissed? Eh? What does that say about me? *siiiiiigh* It would be nice to get a compliment for once from someone who isn't so drunk that he doesn't know what he's saying anymore. Just saying, in case the dating gods are listening.
My patheticness aside, I had a great time yesterday. We had a car, because my friend was driving herself. Having a car when going out clubbing ROCKS. If it's boring at one place, you can just go to another place. And you don't have to phone annoyed parents in the middle of the night to ask them to pick you up wherever it is you ended up at. And my friend is soo so so good at driving. The driving conditions were terrible, what with all the ice and snow, but I didn't feel unsafe once. The car even got stuck once, but she managed the situation so fantastically that I'm still in awe. Me being the worst driver ever, I'm always amazed at other people's driving abilities. But I disgress.
So, we went to the one place first where my friends usually go, which, as I know now, just utterly sucks. The music sucks, and most of the people... *headdesk* The place is rather... I don't really know how to express it, but 'low' seems like a good word. Afterwards we went to another place where I'd never been before, and it was so great. The music was AWESOME (some kind of mix of punk/rock/alternative, as opposed to the other place where it's mostly cheesy pop music), and I enjoyed dancing so so so much. And there were actually people I know! People I go to school with! People I actually like! It was much fun indeed.
Long story short, I had an awesome time last night, and now my head hurts for no apparent reason. And our roof is in danger of collapsing.
Oh, and it has stopped snowing again, but I shan't squee because that'll just make it start again.
