an innaresting philosophy
So I was watching Ghost World last night on Showcase and at the end is a quote from George Bernard Shaw which reads as follows: "The reasonable man spends his life trying to adapt to the world, the unreasonable man spends his life trying to adapt the world to himself, therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man." Wow. That's what I said when I saw it. Leave it to an Irishman to say something that seems as paradoxical as that. There are some days when you either hear or read or see something that really makes you think about what life is all about, where you fit in the grand scheme of things, and how it all fits together in the end. If it isn't obvious already, this quote was one of them.
