I'm too busy acting like I'm not naiive...
so music is great. i listened to a band i knew i liked but hadn't really listened to before, so it brought me places i'd never been. with most of my music, it reminds me of a time or place where i heard the song for the first time so it always pops into my head when i hear it. but with this new band i have no point of reference and it is quite refreshing. they are called godspeedyoublackemperor! and they paint soundscapes over the course of 15 minute instrumentals. it is quite innaresting to hear the build up and tear down of the music.
