I can't find you...it says you don't exist O_o

WTF. :|
I just added you, so hopefully now you'll see me! I hope I'll get the hang of it soon...right now it all looks like a random pile of even-more-random SMS...*ponders*

I didn't think that Book 4 was necessarily bad, but it will shake off readers who only follow the series for certain people/events/situations. I read the books for the writing, so I'm not so easily deterred.

Uhm...I'm very much a "character-driven" kind of reader, a good plot is always a bonus, but good characterization + good writing are the two essential elements that will make me fall in love with a book.

it kind of feels as though she's jamming every, single idea (for this series or others) into the Zodiac world, because she's worried that she won't have the chance to explore it elsewhere.

Ouch, I agree that something like that can get pretty annoying, especially if you got really invested in the world-reality she portrayed in the first three books (which is kinda the case for me)...

This series has me so hooked that I pine for the characters when the writing's finished.

Yes! That's what always happens to me when I'm reading my favorite series! (and it's also why I keep re-reading my favorite books again and again and again..)
That's also why I'm afraid of being disappointed (ergo, procrastination), the more I like-I'm invested in a character/characters, the more I "care" about them, the more I want them to be happy/fulfilled/proud/hopeful/true to themselves... if you know what I mean...

Whenever you read the series, I'll be interested in seeing if you have the same thoughts/reactions, or if you had different opinions. :)

I will read it soon. I think. ;-)
