Bank charges a gogo
So, I did that thing that loads of people are doing, claiming back bank charges from naughty old First Direct. Took about an hour to do, going through my old statements, highlighting away, and then sending off my letter asking for £1173 as a refund.
Today I have been offered £997 as "full and final settlement". Woo! Sometimes "they" are right, it's definitely worth doing it.
If anyone wants the letters I wrote (they were all from bbc.co.uk), I'm more than happy to forward them on.
